During Covid-19, I found myself with the opportunity to help my friends and acquaintances improve their small businesses by integrating design thinking into their workflows.
Starbucks - Buckhead, Atlanta 2019-2020
Post-graduation I worked at Atlanta’s busiest Starbucks as a Barista and quickly gained a promotion to be a Shift Supervisor. I took it upon myself to form a case study to improve our workflow while catering to customer wants and barista needs.
B.S Industrial Design - Gatech 2019
My classes allowed me to walk in the shoes of visual impairment, use new revolutionary technology, and get first-hand experience presenting to 100+ CDC employees. My health & medical courses gave me a deep understanding of user empathy and what it meant to walk in someone else’s shoes.
Founder of AssisTech at Georgia Tech
Assistech’s mission on campus is to teach students design methods and manufacturing skills through the design and rapid prototyping of assistive devices for local clinicians. My responsibilities included being project leader and club president.
